Pitchfork's two-day NYC music-and-beer extravaganza, Octfest, happens September 8-9 on Governors Island and they've just announced the full lineup. On Saturday (9/8) NAO, Standing on the Corner, Hatchie, and Flasher join the previously announced Saba, Preoccupations, Vagabon, Madison McFerrin and headliner Vince Staples. On Sunday (9/9), Girlpool, Kamaiyah, Shopping, Julie Byrne, and The Courtneys will join previously announced acts Yo La Tengo, BADBADNOTGOOD, Hop Along, No Age, Vagabon, and headliners Nile Rodgers & Chic and The Flaming Lips.

In addition to all the music there is also all the beer with over 90 breweries represented. Tastings are included with tickets:

Each single-day ticket holder will receive 15 3oz samples from the festival breweries of their choice. Weekend ticket holders will receive 30, capped at 15 per day. Once depleted, ticket holders will be able to purchase additional samples for $1.50 per 3oz pour. Sampling hours are from 2pm-8pm.

Single day tickets and two-day passes are on sale now. Daily lineups are listed below.

Meanwhile, Madison McFerrin and Standing on the Corner just played the PItchfork Rising showcase at this past weekend's Northside Festival in Brooklyn. Half Waif, Chynna, and Empath were on the bill. We caught Madision, Half Waif and Empath, and pictures from that show are in the gallery below.
