Katy Perry left a disco ball in McCarren Park

Katy Perry‘s new single “Chained to the Rhythm” is officially out Friday, February 10 but folks in certain cities can hear it right now via disco balls that are chained up in public spaces. There’s a headphone plug in each of them, listeners need to bring their own headphones. There are 12 in North America, and the disco ball in NYC is chained to a bench in Williamsburg’s McCarren Park…or “McCarran Park” as it’s misspelled on Katy’s discoball locator map. So if you like Katy Perry and want to hear that song, head Williamsburg now while the weather is still unseasonably warm (it won’t last).
