Kayo Dot - Plastic House on Base of Sky

Kayo Dot announce 'Plastic House on Base of Sky,' Toby Driver schedules solo show

Experimental metal outfit Kayo Dot has announced a new album. It’s called Plastic House on Base of Sky, and it comes out on June 24th via The Flenser. Their first album since 2014’s Coffins on lo promises to be synthesizer-heavy, following the electronic ambitions of that album.

Kayo Dot mastermind Toby Driver is always busy. We already mentioned that Kayo Dot will be playing with Yautja at Saint Vitus on May 28, and Toby also has a solo set coming up at Saint Vitus on May 1. That show will also feature NJ-based headliners Tea Club, plus Bent Knee and Edensong. Tickets for that show should be on sale soon at this link (the link is currently giving an error).

Kayo Dot member Ron Varod also has a record out this year as Zvi.

You can stream Coffins on lo and check out the tracklist from Plastic House on Base of Sky below.
