Following a collaborative single with Ryan Hemsworth and Mitski earlier this year, UK singer/songwriter Keaton Henson released his latest album, Kindly Now (via PIAS). It's an intimate, bedroom-style album but with string arrangements and electronics that reveal bigger ambitions. Julien Baker and Cam from Sorority Noise both listed it as one of their top ten albums of the year. You can stream the whole thing below, and also watch a video of Keaton singing a duet of closing track "How Could I Have Known" with his PIAS labelmate Lisa Hannigan.

Keaton hasn't played North America in years -- he has given more than one interview about his anxiety about performing live -- but he'll return for three shows in 2017. He plays LA, Toronto, and NYC. The NYC show happens January 19 at National Sawdust. Tickets are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

UPDATE (1/18): Keaton has fallen ill and unfortunately cancelled his NYC show.

Speaking of Lisa Hannigan, she also released an album this year and is touring in 2017. Her album, At Swim, is her first since 2011's Passenger and her first produced by The National's Aaron Dessner. It follows her contribution to The National's Grateful Dead tribute album earlier this year, and duo sets she performed with Aaron (like at Boston Calling and the Dessner/Justin Vernon-curated Eaux Claires). You can stream At Swim below.

Her tour brings her to NYC's Bowery Ballroom on February 20. Tickets are on sale now. She also plays the Bon Iver-curated portion of Dublin's Forbidden Fruit Festival. All dates are listed below.
