Kelley Deal's R. Ring jam in the studio in new "See" video, working on new music

R. Ring, the duo of Kelley Deal (The Breeders) and Mike Montgomery, are currently working on new music and while details of what’s in store haven’t been shared yet, you can watch them in the studio in a new video for “See” off of their 2017 album, Ignite the Rest. “This song is about a schizophrenic’s belief that the Pope dispatched the Vatican guard to murder her husband,” says Mike of the song, while Kelley adds, “I was having such an awful hair day I could barely get through the video shoot.” Kelley, you look great! They sound good, too — the “See” video premieres in this post and you can watch that below.

The only R. Ring date on the schedule currently is Waynesville, OH’s Bellwether Festival on August 10, but Kelley and Mike say to keep an eye out for more dates surrounding the fest to be announced soon.
