KEN mode streaming "Turned Out" from the Helmet tribute album

Magnetic Eye records is getting ready to release Meantime (Redux), a covers collection of Helmet’s classic album. The album drops on September 15, and today another track was shared from it: KEN mode‘s take on “Turned Out,” which is furious and awesome.

Sounding a bit like Entrench-era KEN mode, this is a really great cover and perfect match of material and artist. They attack it with guns blazing, and their raw, noisy sound lends a different edge to Helmet’s precision-based approach. Listen:
