Kevin Devine has been touring as a member of Brand New and, as mentioned, he’s got two of his own Brooklyn shows coming up. On December 14 at The Bell House, he’ll play a solo set and perform 2003’s Make the Clocks Move in full, and on December 16 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, he’ll play a full-band set and perform 2006’s Put Your Ghost to Rest in full. He just added great openers for both shows: Worriers at The Bell House and Petal at MHOW. Kevin says that tickets for The Bell House and MHOW are 70% sold out.

At the MHOW show, Kevin and his band will also perform last year’s Instigator, and at the Bell House show, Kevin will perform the recently-released acoustic version of Instigator called We Are Who We’ve Always Been. You can stream that new one below.

Kevin is also one of the many musicians taking part in this year’s Rock Lottery in Brooklyn on 12/2, along with Torres, Lenny Kaye and more.

Kevin also plays a New Year’s Eve show in Philly with The Get Up Kids (an awesome double bill). That happens at the Trocadero Theatre and tickets are on sale.

Right before that show, TGUK also play Syracuse, NY on 12/29 and a sold-out Kingston, NY show on 12/30.

As for Worriers, they recently released their first album for SideOneDummy, Survival Pop (stream it below), and celebrated with a release show at Knitting Factory Brooklyn (11/4) this past weekend. They also open the Menzingers holiday shows in Long Island and New Jersey.

Petal is working on her second album, due out in 2018 via Run For Cover, but first she released the Comfort 7″, which includes two new songs and a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs.” You can stream that below as well.
