Back in 2015, Kevin Devine released a series of split 7"s called Devinyl Splits, and he's doing it again this year. The first one will be with Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn and his backing band The Uptown Controllers and the second one will be with Petal, with four more TBA. The split with Craig Finn is due out March 30 via Bad Timing Records and the split with Petal is due in May.

Craig Finn is contributing the new song "Galveston," which will be out tomorrow (stay tuned), and Kevin's side of that split will feature "Kuala Lumpur," his first new song since 2016's Instigator.

UPDATE: Craig Finn's song is out now:

Pre-orders for the split with Craig Finn and a subscription for the whole series will also go live tomorrow. Here are more details on the subscription:

-- You get every single one of the split 7"s delivered to your door on the less limited vinyl colorway. Each split 7" will be pressed on two vinyl variants. One variant will be a half-and-half colorway, and it will be limited to 200 units. That one was reserved for the Express Line Subscription, which we sold out of last week. The other variant will be a solid color, and it will be limited to different quantities depending on which split we're talking about. But that number will always be more than 200. By purchasing this Local Line Subscription, you will receive all six splits on the solid vinyl color.

-- You get digital downloads of each split, delivered to your inbox before the official release date. The digital downloads will be sent to you via the Bad Timing Records email newsletter, but it will be personalized for Devinyl Splits subscribers. If you don't see something from us by the end of March, check ya spam.

-- You get an enamel pin. This will be shipped with your first split, in March. That's the second image you see on this product page.
