Kevin Devine's second volume of his Devinyl Splits split 7" series began earlier this year with Craig Finn, and though he planned on releasing one with Petal in May, that one has been delayed and instead he's got a split with Worriers for May, out today. Kevin has been using a NYC Subways theme for this series, and here's his announcement about the Petal delay:

Kevin's half of the split is "Outstretched & Never Ending," which has him in acoustic mode with a lot of atmosphere layered over the song. Worriers' half is "No More Bad News" which is more of an indie rocker, but toned down compared to what this punkish band usually does. Listen to both below.

Kevin also has tour dates coming up, including a few dates with Manchester Orchestra starting this Friday (6/1) in New Haven, followed by a few dates with The Front Bottoms (who Kevin has often joined on stage). On August 23, he plays NYC's "Bell House Summer Series at Industry City" at at Sunset Park’s Industry City Courtyard (tickets). All dates are listed below.

Meanwhile, Petal are releasing a new album in June and going on a co-headlining tour with Camp Cope.
