Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall will be bringing a new show, titled ‘ALIVE on 42nd Street’ to Theatre Row’s The Studio Theatre on August August 25, 27, 28, 29 & 30 for eight performances total. Here’s more on the show:
Kevin McDonald is a member of one of the most influential comedy troupes of all time, The Kids In The Hall. Kevin McDonald was also in that one thing, and that other thing, also you have heard his voice in that other thing I SWEAR! Now Kevin brings an evening of stories and songs to the stage and gives you a look behind the scenes of his life and he swears he is still alive and coming to you from Broadway!
Tickets are on sale now. “I’m very excited to be doing an Off-Broadway show though technically it’s on Broadway,” McDonald said in a press release. “I will probably be sharing cabs with cast members of Hamilton. So come see the show! And Hamilton! In fact just go see Hamilton… There, that’s good. What should I do now. I could eat. No, I just ate. I better go over my lines for my Off-Broadway show. No I’ll eat.”
