Kevin Morby shares “City Music” video, expands tour
Kevin Morby's terrific new album, City Music, is out this Friday and he recently released a video for the title track. Directed by Christopher Good and starring a bunch of Morby's friends (I spotted King Tuff at one point), it's a short story dropped into a dreamlike haze that has echos of David Lynch, Charlie Kaufman, and Michel Gondry. It's a great video for a great song and you can watch that below.
You can catch Kevin on tour this fall, and he's just added more dates to that tour, including a new NYC show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on September 7. Tickets for that MHOW show go on sale Friday, June 16 at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (6/14) at noon.
Morby played Bowery Ballroom just a couple weeks ago, Bonnaroo last weekend, and he play's Wilco's Solid Sound Festival next week. Updated tour dates are listed below.
