Denver doom outfit Khemmis are getting set to release their anticipated new album Hunted on October 21. We've already heard the slow crush that is "Candlelight," and now they've shared a new ripper called "Three Gates." Featuring guest vocals from a member of In the Company of Serpents, this one represents a faster shade of churn for these guys. Talking with Decibel, guitarist Ben Hutcherson name-checks High on Fire and Motorhead, and it certainly has that sense of chug. But it has all the mournful melodic accenting that have become Khemmis's signature at this point in their young career. It's another killer from the new record, which can't come soon enough.

While Khemmis have yet to announce a full-fledged tour behind this thing, fans in Chicago and NYC will get a chance to catch them in January. That NYC show goes down at Saint Vitus on January 14 where they'll be joined by the great Philly doom crew Crypt Sermon along with Sanhedrin. Tickets for that are on sale now.

They also play the loaded Southwest Terror Fest in October, with Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Sumac, Saint Vitus, Infest and more.

All dates are listed, along with a stream of "Three Gates," below.
