Kid Millions involved in “serious car crash”; full recovery expected but Oneida tour postponed
Oneida drummer Kid Millions (real name: John Colpitts) has been involved in a "serious car crash," while in Los Angeles. The band shared the news today on Twitter, adding that though he's expected to make a full recovery, Oneida's tour is postponed. Here's their message:
To our friends and fans:
Oneida drummer Kid Millions is in the hospital in Los Angeles following a serious car crash. He is expected to make a full recovery but will be unable to play for some time. In the spirit of community & uplift, Oneida will play their album release show this Sat, 3/3, at Brooklyn’s Secret Project Robot without Kid; but scheduled tour dates for March will be postponed until his recovery. More information about the rescheduling of those dates will be announced as it becomes available. Thanks for your support, and we'll see you soon.
As the band stated above, their upcoming record release show at Secret Project Robot on Saturday, March 3 will continue as planned, just without Kid Millions. From all of us at BV, we wish Kid Millions a speedy recovery.
Oneida's newest LP Romance is out next Friday (3/9) via Joyful Noise.
