Kim Gordon invites you to canvass for Bernie Sanders with her in CA

Primary season is in full swing, and while the Nevada caucus and South Carolina primary are next on the calendar, coming up very soon is Super Tuesday on March 3, when more delegates are at stake than any other single day. California is one of the states with a primary on 3/3, and Bernie Sanders supporter Kim Gordon is among those going door to door canvassing for him in the lead up. If you’re in the area and want to join her, you can sign up to volunteer on a San Fernando Valley Canvass with Kim Gordon and Team Bernie. More info:

Come join musician, visual artist, and writer Kim Gordon and Team Bernie 2020 to Get Out The Vote in the San Fernando Valley!

We are less than 3 weeks away from the March 2020 primary and every conversation matters!!!

Talking to voters face-to-face is the best way to get them out to the polls. Come meet up with our volunteer team and we’ll go knock on doors to round up votes for Bernie Sanders!

If you’ve never canvassed before, don’t worry! We’ll give you a quick training before you head out to make sure you feel confident as you go out to meet voters around town!

Bring a fully-charged smartphone sunscreen, a sun hat, comfy shoes, water and most importantly a friend! You can come by for a couple of hours or stay for the whole shift.

The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, and Bon Iver all recently performed at Bernie rallies.

Meanwhile, Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo shared a new track from his collaborative album with Spanish musician and producer Raül Refree, Names of North End Women. Lee is also appearing with Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley at a Q&A following an NYC screening of Stuart Swezey’s documentary Desolation Center.
