Kimbra will release her newest LP Primal Heart (which she previewed in NYC last month) on April 20, and today she’s released another single from the upcoming album, “Version of Me.” It’s a heartbreaking, tender piano ballad, and features orchestrations by Owen Pallett. The track’s simplistic video features Kimbra solemnly sitting on the shore of an ocean, with the sunset in the background. It’s an appropriately haunting video for the single, and you can watch it, along with videos for previous singles “Human” and “Everybody Knows,” below.
Kimbra has also announced many upcoming tour dates across North America in support of the new record, with openers Son Lux (who recently put out their newest album). Before that leg of the tour begins, Kimbra will be making a stop at NYC’s Rough Trade on April 16. Entry for that show is only granted through preorders of Primal Heart via Rough Trade’s website.
