Kimya Dawson playing shows; Aesop Rock on tour now, playing Irving & 'Colbert' on Monday

Kimya Dawson doesn’t have a tour announced at the moment, but she’s playing a couple of shows, including an intimate show at Brooklyn’s Sunnyvale on June 30 with Daphne. Tickets are on sale now. Her only other upcoming date is in Olympia on Friday (6/10). Check out a few Instagram pics and videos (above and below) from some recent shows she played overseas. You can see her recent setlist, hear her familiar great voice, and see she included a visual tribute to Prince.

In related news, her The Uncluded bandmate Aesop Rock is currently on tour, playing NYC’s Irving Plaza this Monday (6/13). He recently revealed that he’ll also be the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that same day. Stay tuned for that.
