King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard add more Brooklyn shows, opening for Thee Oh Sees and Baby's All Right residency
Australian psych band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard stopped off in NYC after Austin Psych Fest and they never got around to leaving. They’ll be here through this month at least, as they’ve just announced a Brooklyn Summer Fun Residency where they’ll play the first three Thursdays in June at Baby’s All Right. This Thursday (6/5) is a late show (doors at midnight); the 6/12 show is the Panache Northside Showcase with Walter TV, Juan Wauters, Homeshake, Big Ups and DJ Jonathan Toubin; and 6/19 is also a late night show. Tickets to all three Baby’s shows are on sale now.
Additionally, King Gizzard will open the free Thee Oh Sees show at McCarren Park on June 14 (RSVP is closed but you can still get in with a badge) and they’ll play much later that same evening at a warehouse party, location TBA. Then on June 15 the band will play a free BBQ in clothing store Worship‘s backyard.
