Kings of Leon add more tour dates with Deerhunter and Nathaniel Rateliff
Kings of Leon recently hit the road with unlikely tourmates Deerhunter, including an MSG show (pics), and they've now added more dates for the spring and summer. Deerhunter will again join them for their April/May run, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will open the July/August run.
The run with Deerhunter includes a NYC-area show on May 20 at PNC Bank Arts Center, and the run with Nathaniel Rateliff hits the area on August 1 at Jones Beach. Tickets go on sale Saturday (2/4) at 10 AM with VIP package/Citi presales starting Wednesday (2/1) at 10 AM, and Live Nation/Spotify presales starting Thursday (2/2) at 10 AM.
The tour also has Kings of Leon headlining Philly alt-rock station Radio 104.5's 10th birthday celebration on May 13 at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ with Bastille, Empire of The Sun, The 1975, Fitz and the Tantrums and Rag'N'Bone Man. The celebration also includes a June 11 show at the same venue headlined by The Killers (their first US show announced for 2017), and also featuring Foster the People, Bleachers, Kaleo and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Tickets (individual show tickets or a pass that gets you into both) go on sale Friday (2/3) at noon with Radio 104.5/Live Nation presales starting Thursday (2/2) at noon.
