Kirin J Callinan is back with his first music in two years, a cover of The Waterboys' classic "The Whole of the Moon." He doesn't stray to far from the anthemic '80s-ness of the original, but there's no question who's doing this version. There's also a very '80s music video for "Whole of the Moon," directed by Michael Hili, that was was conceptualized, shot, and created in a single day in New York City, and is a one-man-show stage performance. "The Whole of the Moon" will appear on KJC's new album for Terrible Records that'll be out later this year, details TBA. Meanwhile, Kirin will be in Austin this week for SXSW and he's got North American tour dates in April, including L.A., the Boston area, Philly, NYC, Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal and more. The Brooklyn show happens at Baby's All Right on 4/25 (tickets). All dates are listed below,
