Melbourne duo Kllo have been around for a couple years now, and just recently released their new EP Well Worn on Ghostly International. It's cool stuff, with Simon Lam's IDM-inspired beats meeting Chloe Kaul's smooth neo-soul vocals. If the description makes you think Kllo is another "alt-R&B" bandwagon jumper, it's worth thinking again. The singing is tactful and subdued, and the beats favor headiness over cheap EDM-style thrills. For a super modern comparison, it's sort of like if Disclosure or SBTRKT tried to be more like Rhye or The Internet. You can stream the EP in full, and watch videos for two of the songs, below.

Kllo will make their NYC debut on December 8 at Baby's All Right. Tickets are on sale now. It's their only date announced over here at the moment, but a longer North American tour is TBA.
