Kool Keith has collaborated with Inspectah Deck and Headkrack on the new track "Black Men (unarmed)" which protests the excessive force by police officers that has resulted in the deaths of several African-American males such as Eric Garner and Freddie Gray. Says Kool Keith:

We just used the pen to express our feelings about the police brutality against Blacks that go way before there was color TVs. You would think cops would chill now that cameras are everywhere, but it's like they're auditioning for 'NYPD Blue' or 'New York Undercover.' They don't give a fuck. Shit gotta stop.

Keith, who debuted his new backing group, The Lucky Bears Foot Band, at Joe's Pub not too long ago, has a few dates lined up this summer, including another NYC show at Brooklyn Bowl on August 20. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (5/15) at noon. All known dates are listed below.
