Kurt Vile expands tour, headlining Terminal 5 (updated dates)

Kurt Vile released his excellent Wakin On A Pretty Daze this past April and has pretty much been on tour in support of it ever since. He already came to NYC for a relatively intimate show at Bowery Ballroom in May, and more recently he was here for two free outdoor shows: his mesmerizing set at 4Knots and his contributions to the Big Star tribute in Central Park. Now, KV is set to return to NYC in the fall for what will be his largest headlining show here yet, Terminal 5 on October 25. (He’s played the venue before, but not as a headliner.)
Support at the T5 show comes from Beach Fossils, who also play the Captured Tracks 5th Anniversary in September. Tickets for the Terminal 5 show go on sale Friday (7/12) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (7/10) at noon.
