Ladybug Transistor and Crystal Stilts keyboardist Kyle Forester will release his self-titled solo album in May and he's just released another song off it, "Didn't Try to Run Away." Kyle's got a way with the kind of lightly-strummed guitar pop ofter associated with the early '70s, and this is another good example of his talent. You can check it out, along with the rather weird David Klein-directed video, below.

Kyle has a couple NYC dates coming up: April 6 at Berlin which is the PURSUIT party and is with Silverbird, plus a DJ set from Kyle's wife Erika Spring (of Au Revoir Simone). That show is free with RSVP and flyer's below. He'll also play a record release show at Brooklyn's Alphaville on May 18 with Pale Lights and Bill Botting (aka Allo Darlin's mustachioed bassist).
