Chicago via Dominican Republic hardcore band La Armada are following 2014's Crisis EP with a new album, Anti-Colonial Vol. 1, on March 30 via Creep Records (pre-order). We're premiering the video for song "Fire," a protest song which blends hardcore and tharsh and injects some of the band's Latin roots towards the end. The band tell us, "This song is a call for resistance in reaction to increased visibility and power in the hands of the alternative right, religious extremists and white supremacists in this country. The video projects the feeling of isolation and anger that this can produce on those directly affected. The song is a powerhouse punk assault with a heavy Latin-infused breakdown at the end." La Armada are also touring the US with Propagandhi and Iron Chic in March, making stops in Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Atlanta, and more. All dates are listed on the tour poster below.
