La Dispute sign to Epitaph for fourth album
La Dispute have been hard at work on their fourth album with producer Will Yip for a while now, and though most details are still TBA, La Dispute did just sign to a new label for the album: Epitaph (making them labelmates with their old pals Touche Amore and Pianos Become the Teeth, along with tons of other killer bands). Stay tuned for more info.
While we wait for that album, La Dispute are putting out a reworked version of their 2008 debut Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair for its 10th anniversary on November 9 via No Sleep. The new version features re-amped guitars by Will Yip, a new mix by Dave Schiffman, and remastering by Emily Lazar. Going by the recently released “The Castle Builders,” it’s a more significant reworking than your average remastered reissue, and it sounds great. Listen below.
La Dispute will also be on tour with Circa Survive and Queen of Jeans this fall, beginning with a NYC show on October 29 at Playstation Theater (tickets). All dates are listed below.
