Lamb of God announce first album in 5 years, share song, promising US tour
Richmond metal giants Lamb of God have announced their first new album in five years (not counting their 2018 covers album under their Burn the Priest alter-ego). It's self-titled, it comes out May 8 via Epic, and first single "Checkmate" is out now, along with a video. Pre-orders are up now and "all pre-orders come with first access to tickets for [their] upcoming US tour to be announced at a later date." Stay tuned for those US tour dates (including the Metallica-headlined Welcome to Rockville), and meanwhile you can view the list of their upcoming Europe/UK dates with Kreator and Power Trip below.
In related news, LOG frontman Randy Blythe is featured on the new Saudade (mem Crosses, Bad Brains, Cro-Mags, etc) song "Lions," alongside Lee "Scratch" Perry.
