I thought Land of Talk was too good to be true. I found out they’re very much real while I fell in love with the Montreal band during their live show at Fat Baby Thurday night (March 9, 2006). Elizabeth Powell’s voice is still stuck in my head 12 hours later. If you like what you hear, you still have a chance to catch them in NYC Saturday night before they head back to Montreal.
