Ambient pioneer Laraaji and frequent collaborator Arji OceAnanda will perform at Middle of Nowhere, an immersive event held in NJ's Pine Barrens. Presented by Atlas Obscura and curated by filmmaker David Scott Kessler, it happens on September 28 in Whitesbog Historic Village, and tickets are on sale now.

In addition to Laraaji, the event will feature performances from Erik Ruin’s Ominous Cloud Orchestra, Jackson Pines and Grassland Bluegrass Band, screenings of two Pine Barrens films (one directed by Kessler with a live score performed by The Ruins of Friendship Orchestra - watch the trailer below), art, camping, a bonfire, storytelling and more.

Meanwhile, Laraaji continues to keep up a busy tour schedule; he recently performed on Elsewhere's Rooftop with Gabi, and he'll be back in Brooklyn on October 27 at National Sawdust for two performances of "Sun Piano," which will involve his piano compositions. Tickets for the 3 PM and 7 PM shows are on sale now.
