Laura Marling streaming new album, adds summer North American tour dates, including NYC

Laura Marling‘s new album Short Movie comes out on Ribbon Music next week (3/24) but she’s now streaming the entire thing at NPR. Like the early singles hinted, Laura goes electric and has bigger arrangements on this one, but her roots show plenty of the time too. It’s a good album, check it out.
Laura will be at SXSW this week and plays a NYC show at Warsaw with Villagers directly after. That Warsaw show is sold out, but Laura announced that she’ll be back in North America for a slightly longer tour in the summer.
The new dates bring her to NYC once again for a show on August 3 at Town Hall with openers TBA. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (3/20) at noon.
