LCD Soundsystem are debuting new songs at Brooklyn Steel (but asking fans not to film)

LCD Soundsystem‘s five night run / opening party for Brooklyn Steel is will soon be underway — doors are open for the first show and the place is beginning to fill up as we speak. On the way in it’s hard to miss the giant placard (see above) that is asking fans to both not film old songs (“We already made a whole movie out of those and you’re not gonna find a “better angle” with your iPhone that Spike Jonze found with his camera”) or NEW SONGS (“It’d be a real gutpunch to all the people who have been working insanely hard for the last 18 months to release this music in the way we want to release it”).
