LCD Soundsystem have been covering Chic’s “I Want Your Love” at shows for a while now. They’ve now put it to tape as part of a Spotify Session that they recorded live at NYC’s legendary Electric Lady studios where it segues seamlessly from “Home.” Nancy Whang takes lead vocals, they don’t really mess with the original too much — though they throw in the bassline from The Smiths’ “Barbarism Begins at Home” at the end, and it sounds great. The Spotify Session also includes “Tonite” and you can listen to that below.

LCD Soundsystem also recently released “some remixes” of “I Used To” and “Oh Baby” and you can listen to those below, too.

Meanwhile, Chic are releasing their first album in 25+ years this month, and touring with Cher in 2019.
