LCD Soundsystem recently said that their first album since 2010’s This Is Happening is done and now it’s officially been announced. It’s called American Dream, and it’s due out on September 1 via Columbia/DFA. The album includes recent singles “Call the Police” and the title track. Full tracklist below.

LCD are currently in the midst of their second Brooklyn Steel residency of 2017 (check out night 1 and night 2 coverage). The residency continues tonight (6/19), Tuesday (6/20), Wednesday (6/21), Friday (6/23), and Saturday (6/24). All of those shows are sold out.

The band also just announced a world tour, including a third Brooklyn Steel residency, this time for TEN SHOWS on December 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, and 23. Tickets for the December shows go on sale Friday (6/23) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

James Murphy recently spoke about scalpers and the so-called LCD reissues that Rhino is putting out, which James says he had no idea about and says you should buy the originals straight from DFA.
