LCD Soundsystem's five-show run that opened the brand new NYC venue Brooklyn Steel is now a wrap. says that like on night 4, the fifth and final show had LCD playing all four of the new songs they debuted on this run, though an Instagrammed photo of the setlist does not include "Emotional Haircut." ("American Dream," "Call The Police," and "Tonight" were revealed on night 1, and "Emotional Haircut" first surfaced on night 2.) Once again, the show ended with the crowd-pleasing "Dance Yrself Clean" and "All My Friends."

As you may have heard, LCD were asking fans not to film the new songs (a request that seems to have been granted), so you'll just have to wait for that new album to drop for those new songs if you didn't catch the shows. Meanwhile, now that the shows are done...might we get some kind of announcement soon?

LCD Soundsystem's upcoming dates are mostly festivals, including New York's Mysteryland, Shaky Knees, Forecastle, and Pitchfork.

Brooklyn Steel's first non-LCD Soundsystem show is Floating Points this Thursday (4/13), which is followed by a three-night Decemberists/Julien Baker run, and then PJ Harvey on 4/20.
