Le Guess Who? fest adds Holly Herndon, Efterklang, Lightning Bolt & more to 2019 lineup
Unique Netherlands festival Le Guess Who? has announced more performers for the 2019 edition which happens November 7-10 in Utrecht. Those include Holly Herndon (presenting PROTO), Efterklang, Lightning Bolt, Master Soumy, Mykki Blanco, Vladimir Ivkovic, Amnesia Scanner, and Sudan Archives. They join previously announced artists The Raincoats, Deerhunter, Cate le Bon, Yves Jarvis, Acid Mothers Temple, DJINN, Gruff Rhys,Träd Gräs och Stenar (Träden), Godflesh, ZONAL, Sonic Boom, and more.
LGW? has also announced the remaining curated programs for the 2019 edition, including the full programs from Fatoumata Diawara, and Iris van Herpen & Salvador Breed. Diawara’s curated program includes Cuban jazz pianist Roberto Fonseca (Buena Vista Social Club), Malian rapper Master Soumy, and Tuareg artist Ahmed Ag Kaedy. Van Herpen & Breed’s curated program includes the above-mentioned Efterklang, Amnesia Scanner, and Mykki Blanco, along with J-E-T-S (Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum’s Travis Stewart), and DJ/producer Djrum, Ohsun and more.
The other 2019 guest curators are Moon Duo, Jenny Hval, Patrick Higgins, and The Bug. You can see all additions to the 2019 Le Guess Who? lineup below. Festival passes and day tickets are on sale now.
