Legendary Pink Dots released 'Pages of Aquarius,' played Knitting Factory with Orbit Service (pics)

Experimental psych-rock vets Legendary Pink Dots played Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory last week (9/30), a show that halfway through their North American tour with Orbit Service. Ever-led by Edward Ka-Spel and Phil Knight, LPD have an enormous catalogue and at Knit played selections from throughout their career, as well as tracks from their latest (40-something-th) album Pages of Aquarius (which you can stream below).

Opening was Orbit Service, aka Denver musician Randall Frazier, who has toured with LPD in the past and delivered a 30 minute set of electronic psychedelic space rock explorations. Pictures are in the gallery above and remaining LPD tour dates are listed below.
