Lightning Bolt, the Sun Ra Arkestra and Jlin are all playing the "Interference AV" festival from February 19 - 21 at the AMC Empire multiplex in NYC's Times Square. The free series is presented by Times Square Arts and Clocktower Productions, who were behind that Priests and Screaming Females show at AMC Empire back in March. Jlin plays on 2/19, Lightning Bolt play on 2/20, and Sun Ra Arkestra play on 2/21.

Each night will feature experimental video collective Undervolt & co. who will project immersive VJ sets on the movie screens during the live performances. RSVP is open for the shows, but note that it does not guarantee admittance. First come, first serve.

While in town, Lightning Bolt will play Elsewhere on February 21 (tickets).

Sun Ra Arkestra played NYC on Tuesday night (12/17) as part of the final night of Yo La Tengo's Hanukkah celebration at Bowery Ballroom, and will also play Winter Jazzfest.

Jlin is fresh off playing the awesome Day For Night festival, and she's also been landing on several Best of 2017 lists for her sophomore album Black Origami.
