The three day Panorama fest kicked off on Randall's Island Friday afternoon, but quickly ended before any big artists played due to a flash flood warning on the first day. The island started being evacuated minutes before Dua Lipa was set to take the stage. The War on Drugs, Father John Misty, Yaeji and The Weeknd were also among the acts that never got to play.

Things looked to be running smoother on Saturday when all of a sudden Lil Wayne -- who was added to the festival pretty recently to replace Cardi B who had to cancel due to baby -- wasn't showing up on stage. At first we just thought he was late, but then 20 minutes into his set time they announced that in fact Wayne had cancelled! Check out the photo above and the video below ("Due to Weather conditions, Lil Wayne's flight has been delayed.") The weather is beautiful here in NYC (update: there is a bit of rain), but ironically it was once again weather taking the blame.

Meanwhile, earlier sets by Jay Som and Japanese Breakfast went off without a hitch, and as we write this we're still looking forward to St. Vincent, SZA and Janet Jackson.

We're also looking forward to Japanese Breakfast's DJ set tonight (7/28) at DT*UT on the Upper East Side (1744 2nd Ave at East 91st Street -- a short walk from the 103rd Street Footbridge off Randall's Island),. Hope to see you there!
