In the wake of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's tragic and unexpected suicide earlier this week, the band have cancelled their tour, as Live Nation tweeted (see above).

The tour included two Blinkin Park shows (co-headlining with blink-182), including one at NYC's Citi Field on July 28 with Wu-Tang Clan. No word yet if those shows will go on without them. UPDATE: Those shows are now cancelled as well.

Several fellow musicians paid tribute to Chester, including Stone Temple Pilots, for whom Chester sang lead from 2013-2015.

Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda said he was "shocked and heartbroken" to hear the news. An official statement from the band is still forthcoming.
