Joan Shelley has been killing it with the quarantine content. She recently released the two-song single "Blue Skies" / "Between Rock & Sky" for -- her words -- "the great shut-in of 2020," and now she released the live album Live at The Bomhard to benefit her touring band: Nathan Salsburg, Nathan Bowles, Anna Krippenstapel and Jake Fussell, "all of whom have had tours cancelled and significant income lost due to the COVID-19 crisis."

The album was recorded at the Bomhard Theater in Joan's hometown of Louisville, KY on December 13, 2019, and it's a great live album that reminds you that Joan's voice sounds as pristine on stage as it does in the studio. Her frequent collaborator Bonnie 'Prince' Billy (aka Will Oldham) showed up for their collaborative "Jenny Come In" and a cover of "I Would Be In Love (Anyway)," and his voice sounded as incredible as ever too. Joan says:

Proceeds from this album go to support the BEST HANDS BAND that supported me. With their own tours delayed and the future uncertain, they deserve some love!

The support I have felt from you all recently has been moving beyond words. I thank you for keeping music close to your hearts right now. Love to everyone.
