Country singer Margo Price is releasing her debut album Midwest Farmer’s Daughter via Jack White’s Third Man Records next week (3/25). This is Margo’s first solo album, as she used to be the front woman of Buffalo Clover. She has a knack for writing compelling stories in her songs, beautifully sharing the details of her hardships, as she does in “Desperate and Depressed” and the six-minute long opening track “Hands of Time.” Stream Midwest Farmer’s Daughter in full, via NPR, below.

Margo just kicked off her tour at SXSW, including Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion show at his ranch today (3/18), and  BrooklynVegan’s free Saturday SXSW day party at Cheer Up Charlies. She goes on at 4:30 PM. RSVP is still open. Hope to see you there
