New Netflix show Marvel’s Luke Cage debuted in the past week, and the hip hop inflected show is already garnering good reviews. The production has also shared a playlist of some of the music that appears in the show, and it’s a good long one.

The soundtrack was supervised by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhhammad, and they’ve packed it with gems both obvious (“Bring Da Ruckus”) and more obscure (Ernie Hines’ great “Our Generation”). You can get the likes of Big Daddy Kane, Raphael Saadiq, Isaac Hayes, Dennis Coffey, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, KRS-One, Jidenna, Rakim, MC Lyte and many more. The show also features music performances in it to, by the likes of Charles Bradley, Raphael Saadiq and others.
