listen to Real Numbers' "New Boy" from Slumberland debut
Minneapolis’s Real Numbers are gearing up to release Wordless Wonder, their first album for Slumberland, on October 14. Their seemingly shambly indiepop sound is a style a lot of bands attempt but few can actually pull off. Real Numbers can and do with a combination of super-catchy songs, musicianship and just-right mid-fi production. (They remind me, in that way, of another Slumberland band: The Aislers Set.)
