As mentioned, Sigur Ros are releasing a new album, Kveikur, on June 18 via XL. They’ve already revealed the first single, “Brennisteinn,” and have also been debuting material live, and now they’ve released the studio version of the album’s title track. After their very ambient 2012 comeback album, Valtari, it looks like Kveikur is turning out to be their heaviest and most rock-oriented album yet.
