Master of the visual arts David Lynch is doing his part in taking care of Americas's veterans with a benefit show called An Amazing Night of Comedy: A David Lynch Foundation Benefit for Veterans with PTSD which will take place at New York City Center on April 30. The show features an absolutely top shelf line-up including performances from Louis CK, Russell Brand, Jim Gaffigan, and SNL's Vanessa Bayer. Tickets, which range from $49.50 - $149.50 (quite reasonable given the insanity of the line-up and how noble a cause the funds will support) are on sale now. The show is being presented by DLF Live which is the David Lynch Foundation's performance-based initiative.

Since its launch ten years ago, the David Lynch Foundation has already provided scholarships to teach Transcendental Meditation to more than 500,000 at-risk youth in underserved schools, veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), women who are survivors of domestic violence, and homeless and incarcerated individuals. DLF Live's mission is to create incredible, one-night-only experiences with some of the biggest, most lauded creatives of our time, to help raise money to bring evidence-based, stress-reducing meditation to these one million at-risk adults and youth across the globe. Since its formation in late 2013, DLF Live has been instrumental in utilizing the power of music to bring awareness and resources via TM to at-risk populations

A fantastic show for an urgent and pressing cause at a reasonable ticket price. Hope to see you there.
