Spending eight hours a week compiling shows happening in NYC for no money has a few benefits. I get the occasional free ticket to a show like Lisa Marie Presley and Angela McCluskey at the Supper Club (May 10th, 2005). Would I want to go to this show if it wasn’t free? Yeah (I’m completely in love with Angela McCluskey). Would I actually spend the $32.50 + ticketbastard charges to go to Times Square on a Tuesday evening to see this show? No.

Last time I saw Angela Mcluskey @ the no-longer-in-existence Fez, Craig Wedren sang backup on “Love is Stronger Than Death.” Last night it was the song Angela chose to close her set. I found out today it was originally by The The, and I’m loving the original as much as I love the cover.
