The 2017 edition of London's art-minded Meltdown Festival goes down June 9 - 18. Every year it's curated by a different artist (last year was Elbow's Guy Garvey) and this year it's M.I.A. They've just announced the initial lineup for this year, which includes performances from Young Fathers, who are creating "a unique show created specially for Meltdown," plus Mykki Blanco with JD Sampson, Crystal Castles, and Yung Lean, as well as  Afrikan Boy, MHD/Mr Eazi, I Wayne/Dexta Daps, Young M.A/Tommy Genesis, and M.I.A. herself. More artists will be announced soon -- M.I.A. reportedly has extended an invitation to Radiohead. Read more about this year's Meltdown here.
