Love or hate his music, you're likely not to be bored at a Mac DeMarco show. The Canadian singer, who lives in Rockaway, Queens these days, is known for performances filled with wild antics, stage-diving, crowd surfing, nudity, and other shenanigans. It was no different Sunday night (5/15) at Webster Hall, the first of three sold-out NYC shows this week, which featured stage invasions, a whole bunch of people watching from the side of the stage, spooning, a rather epic crowd surf to the back bar (during which he managed to light up while atop the crowd), and an encore cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" featuring one of those inflateable waving tube men. It would be unfair to say the music is secondary, given the amount singing along that was happening, but it was a spectacle.

Toronto's Elliot Vincent Jones opened and pictures from his set are below. Mac DeMarco plays Webster Hall again tonight, this time with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard which has the potential to be even crazier, and then will play Market Hotel on Tuesday. Lots more pics of Sunday night's craziness, and Mac's setlist, below.
