Tim’s Twitter Listening Party, the interactive listening parties for classic albums featuring commentary from the artists who made them, was created by Tim Burgess of The Charlatans and have been going since COVID-19 lockdown took hold in March. North America and Europe are starting to open back up, a little, but Burgess is still hosting new listening parties nearly daily, if not at quite the fever pitch they happened in April and May.
July’s schedule includes Madness‘ One Step Beyond (7/3), The Lemon Twigs‘ Do Hollywood (7/8), Faithless’ Reverence (7/9), The Zutons‘ Who Killed The Zutons (7/10), The Pogues‘ If I Should Fall from Grace with God (7/11), Menswear‘s Nuisance (7/13), The Dandy Warhols‘ Thirteen Tales of Urban Bohemia (7/13), Caribou‘s Swim (7/18), Joy Division‘s Closer (7/18), and more.
Today’s listening parties (7/1) are Marika Hackman‘s Any Human Friend (3 PM ET), Friendly Fires‘ self-titled debut (4 PM ET), and Superchunk‘s Majesty Shredding (5 PM). Check out the full schedule below and more details are here.
