Noise trio Magik Markers put out a new record last year which was as much of a racket as you'd expect, and now member Elisa Ambrogio is taking almost the exact opposite approach for her debut solo album, The Immoralist, coming out next week (10/21) via Drag City. The new single "Superstitious" is a clean, soft-sounding song and Elisa proves she's very adept at both styles. Watch the video for that song below.

Elisa will be supporting the album on a tour with Emil Amos' (Grails, Om) Holy Sons project, who also put out a new album this year. That tour hits NYC on November 15 at Union Pool. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
