Manchester Orchestra's 2009 album Mean Everything To Nothing -- the raw, grungy followup to their breakthrough album I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child -- turned 10 this past April, and the band will celebrate the album by performing it in full on a tenth anniversary tour this fall. Virgin remains the band's most classic album, but Mean Everything To Nothing was an excellent followup that proved Manchester Orchestra couldn't be pigeonholed into one sound, and it helped them achieve the kind of longevity that they still have today (their last album, 2017's A Black Mile to the Surface, is one of their best). It's got everything from poppy indie rock songs ("The Only One," "In My Teeth") to well-executed '90s grunge revival ("Shake It Out") to songs that are nearly in doom metal territory ("Pride") to dark, singer/songwriter songs ("I Can Feel A Hot One"), and more. If you haven't listened to it in a while (or ever), it's worth revisiting and you can do so below.

Speaking about the tour, frontman Andy Hull writes:

hey, it’s andy

I wanted to take a moment to peek our heads out from the bunker and announce some exciting plans we have for the end of this year.

This past May marked the 10 year anniversary (insane) of our 2nd child “Mean Everything To Nothing.” We are thrilled to announce that we have strung together a few Anniversary shows on the West and East coast of this fine country in November & December. We plan to play the album in its entirety and strongly suggest you join us for a surely communal experience singing these songs together. We will also be celebrating the album at this year’s (10th Annual?!?) The Stuffing at The Fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta. We also plan to release some extra goodies surrounding the album along the way.

Although we have spent the year working tirelessly on whatever it is that is next, we are really proud of this album and felt it necessary to take a few weeks and finally play it for you guys start to finish. We plan to pretty immediately get back to the bunker so join us now before we truly go insane trying to finish our next project.

As always, thank you for your unending support of this band. We truly love you and are so grateful for this journey you’re on with us.

mean everything to nothing,

Andy & MO

The tour begins in Honolulu and then hits a few West Coast cities before making its way East. There's a NYC show on December 7 at Brooklyn Steel.

The tour also surrounds the band's annual hometown Thanksgiving show, The Stuffing, which happens this year on November 27 at Fox Theatre with Grouplove, Foxing, O'Brother, Kevin Devine, and Brother Bird.

All dates, including The Stuffing, are on fan presale now. If you miss out on the fan presale, other various presales for individual cities start later this week and the public on-sale begins Friday (8/9) at noon local. All dates are listed below.

Earlier this year, Manchester and Kevin Devine released their third Bad Books album. Kevin announced his own 10th anniversary tour yesterday, for Brother's Blood.
